Coaches, Board Members, Team Managers are required to fill out the three forms below (Volunteer Application and CORI and SORI forms). This year, the volunteer form can be completed right on your desktop. Just click in each field and type away, then print the form out. It's that simple! Download the instruction sheet for details on how to fill out both forms and when and how they must be submitted.

Players/Cheerleaders: All the forms you need are in one, multi-page PDF document. This year, the forms can be completed right on your desktop. Please bring form pages A through F (as well as G and H if currently available) to registration on April 10th or 15th. Volunteers
We are always seeking volunteers for coaching football and cheerleading at all levels, board members, equipment managers, trainers, TV crew (videographers and announcers), Snack Shack helpers, and more. See above for Volunteer forms (there are 2; you must complete both). All coaches and assistant coaches will have a CORI check made by the Sharon Recreation Dept. CORI is a criminal record check for conviction and pending criminal case information and will not necessarily disqualify your application. Coaches must also submit a SORI (Sex Offender Registry) form. These are required documents. You will not be allowed to coach without a CORI check and a SORI form submission.
Fundraising
We are a not-for-profit organization. Our revenues are devoted to the safety, support and recognition of the children who participate. Practice fields, equipment, uniforms, lights, safety equipment, playing fields for game days, storage facilities, awards, cheerleading competition fees, insurance, EMTs and personalized sweatshirts. These are just some of the many items required to sustain the program. Registration fees cover only 70% of program costs. Fundraising needs to make up the other 30%, and we need the children and their families to help. This provides an opportunity for the children to contribute to something that is important to them, and share the program with the community! One of SPW's fundraisers is our Raffle Program. Not only do you get a chance to help support Pop Warner, you also get a chance to earn gift cards. For more information, click on "Fundraising Information" above.
